You evaluate and consider offshoring production in response to stay competitive.
New admin comes in and offers either incentives or threat against parent company business (Intervention) to keep you from offshoring.

You can't scream and gnash teeth about "this" intervention without considering the existing context of intervention by the same govt entities.
this is a case study in the folly of govt intervention, but the horse is fvcking out of the barn, so I'm looking for smart decisions, decent decisions in an unacceptable arena.
If that makes me a sellout, hypocrite, idiot, whatever, so be it.
Call me when the previous intervention is undone and then I will scream bloody murder about this one - especially since the fed govt is an ACTOR IN THIS INDUSTRY. It is the buyer of product from this company, it isn't a disinterested 3rd party.
