But those are just possible options. What Sterk needs to actually be doing is making a list of who he feels are the top 3 coaches not in one of the power 4 conferences and accumulating enough resources to make an offer than one of those 3 names doesn't say no, then going out and taking someone's coach because he wants to show that MU cares about men's basketball. If they aren't currently a head coach at an SEC, ACC, B1G, or PAC12 program outside of a few exceptions everyone should be on the table. We are going to have to considerably overpay to compensate for this mistake, that is unfortunately a given. Men's basketball is an easy sport for MU to compete at on a national level if they make even an adequate commitment to the sport.
