I understand why they use CVL as a crutch, he isn't going to screw up. That would be valuable in close games for NIT/NCAAT team. But Mizzou is not that good yet. Leaning on a player so the loss isn't as bad doesn't mean much, it's still a loss. Better to give minutes to players that have a high upside and can improve with more playing time.
