If Bannon did say Breitbart is 'alt right', you think he is championing those causes?
No. You KNOW he's not championing those causes.
So by Bannon's definition, the 'alt right' is not this unthinkably evil thing.
To Trump, it clearly is. So he repudiates it.
There are two definitions here, both can be correct. And none of it requires hypocrisy.
But a shallow look into it may make it seem that way and someone trying to cast aspersions would obviously be happy with a shallow look.
Why? Because they're not really interested in getting to the bottom of things, no, no, they're simply dramatizing some triggered political state, such as 'Republicans are hypocrites' or whatever...
