Big Government programs pander to them is hurting them rather than helping them, and that reforming government's role in the economy can improve living standards for all and give them the opportunity to earn decent livings on their own merits he will have done a great service to them and to our nation as a whole.

Whether he can, or whether he will actually even try to do so still remains to be seen, however.
