What cooks us probably isn't getting fixed before we all croak, it may take 1000's or millions of years to stabilize, or it might never.
Imagine max summer temps that go up only about 30% more. That would be 160 degrees. Even microscopic stuff dies at about 165. We would be toast as a species.
