The Press owes its allegiance to the country and to the republic. It is a sacred trust. You earn the respect of the press. It is not assumed. Mr Trump's record is a tad shady so the media approaches him with trepidation. It is going to be an interesting few years. Trump better steel himself to a level of scrutiny and criticism with which he may be unaccustomed.
