"Death penalty. Dull, rusty needle" and this idea that cops are more equal than the subjects they police and that those who transgress against cops deserve special, cruel and unusual penalties.

You realize that this type of thinking plays a large role in the anti-cop sentiment that underlies a lot of these stories in the first place, right?
