Why? Because they will be correct. Govt hiring has favored the hiring/promotion of minorities, women, gays, etc. for decades.

So, any cut in govt will impact them harder due to their being over represented.

The angry lefties will of course use this as racism, sexism, etc. demanding why aren't more straight white men being fired!

(Without ever mentioning there aren't that many of them in govt compared to the population ).
