wanted Trump over Hillary. He presented as a potential change from the interventionist foreign policy of the last 100 years or so. He better not mess that up.
Also, on this point, it's interesting to talk with liberals post-election and tell them as much. They think I am crazy for thinking that Trump was a better foreign policy candidate than Hillary.
