Or were truly convinced that he would succeed. Most just said give him a chance to prove that he can or can't do it. If he fails this year then we move on to a new coach. I do think that Phillips, Puryear, Walton, Hughes, Nikko, &Smith can all be pretty good as upperclassmen. Regardless of who is the guy coaching them.
