No play making ability at all and he showed that a bit in HS

I know he played at a really low level at Pacific, but when I saw him play I was surprised by his overall game and athletic ability compared to what I was expecting. However, he also did not impress me as being a lights out shooter. Unfortunately it appears that at this level the other parts of his game have not translated and he has to be just a shooter. I don't think you can play a kid that deficient at making plays so many minutes. At some point he is going to have to start making plays off of his shot. It really is impressive how little production he has beyond making 3s. That has to change. He also does not seem that great at hunting for his shot. When I think of shooters I think of guys running all around the court to get open looks and ready to pull as soon as they catch the ball, I don't really see that with CVL.
