Willie Jackon is a much better player than Gant, for instance. He's a freshmen three games in, and it's already obvious.

Hughes is better than Namon. Nikko is better than Rosburg at the beginning of last season - he'll be better than end of year Rosburg before this season is over.

Geist is better than Isabell. Not as athletic, not as able to create a shot, but a better ball player and teammate.

Upperclassmen who don't know how to play basketball are not better than freshmen who do. Some people confuse athleticism with talent. I don't.

I will grant you that this team is young, it's going to take some lumps, but it's better than what was here before.
