Our best lineup: Phillips, Puryear, Hughes, Jackson, Nikko
Phillips: Probably our best player, if he plays bad, we play bad. Can't fall in the habit of trying to do to much.
Puryear: See Phillips and he's undersized to play against other teams centers. His D is still terrible.
Hughes: Good shooter, decent size, average athlete. Might defend better than i thought. Doesn't seem shy about shooting, needs to get an easy basket early to get in to the game.
Jackson: Very active player, athletic. Probably will make a lot of mistakes early.
Woods: He looks stronger this year but it looks like he will only be good against terrible teams.
Vanleer: Most discussed player on the team. Isn't great at anything but isn't terrible at anything. Below average D. Should be coming off the bench...i'd even have him play some backup PG.
Nikko: He's big, not only tall but wide. He needs to play a lot early and if he develops quickly be in the starting lineup.
Walton: He'd play in front of Vanleer if he looked interested every game instead of every other game. He can get to the basket...something not many on this team can do. Looks lost defensively often.
Giest: I really need to see more of him but i don't see his game translating well against athletic teams. I've seen him compared to Sutherland...the only thing they have in common is they might play dirty.
Smith: Light years away from contributing.
