Barbara Boxer thinks the Constitution needs to be amended to abolish the Electoral College. She's going to introduce a bill for just that. I can tell you right now that smaller states are not going to ratify it and surrender their own influence to the likes of California and New York. She would need 38 states to ratify it in 7 years. Does she really think 13 or more state won't reject it? Idaho? Montana? Arizona? Nevada? Wyoming? North Dakota? South Dakota? Nebraska? Kansas? Oklahoma? Not so small Texas? Louisiana? Arkansas? Missouri? Iowa? Kentucky? Tennessee? Mississippi? Alabama? Georgia? South Carolina? North Carolina? That's 22, far more than 12 that will fart in its general direction.
