were not having a competitive primary, and they got stuck with two horrible choices, and then telling the rural folks they did not matter.

By design or not, Trump far out politicked the politics experts. Trump would also able to tell some of the extremists what they wanted to hear even though he had been opposed to most of it in his liberal career, and it looks like they may have been duped....time will tell though.
