I think his position as a strategist is warranted, and that's his position.
I think having Reince as Chief of Staff makes sense in light of the Congressional leadership being establishment Republicans, and Trump's stated need/desire to work with them. I'm sure the Priebus knows where a lot of the skeletons are and that will be helpful.
