away from all of it, and just kept in the states....We send money to DC..they take probably 10-20% for "overhead" and send it back. It then becomes a game of who gets more back than they send...and now we want to use this money tree as a punishment or carrot. It is insanely stupid.

Same was stupid when Obama said he would withhold money to schools who did not set up transgender bathroom policies that he wanted.

So now we have a government that wants to essentially deny money for those who "need" it for political reasons.

BTW..I am against sanctuary cities and all that, but the political football that goes on is stupid......and all of the result of a years long dumb border policy....and now we must spend billions trying to fix something that probably will never get fixed anyways just like the war on drugs
