they are liberal. Rask who is slightly to the left of Mao seriously claims to be a moderate.

JG who links story after story from leftist websites and spends every waking moment blasting the GOP claims to be, and may actually believe that he is, a conservative.

When you are so insular that absolutely everyone in your professional and personal circles thinks exactly like you do you start to actually believe EVERYONE thinks the same way. Any who don't can be dismissed as evil or stupid.
