Much of that has to do with the internet connection, though.
Businesses usually have higher grade connections and IT departments that can give those connections priority over other data traversing the lines, as well as multiple ISP providers so that traffic can be shared &/or rerouted instantaneously to the best connection. I'm sure they also have top of the line computers & equipment so those would not be the bottlenecks if there are any.
But yes, I acknowledge your point that the internet can occasionally cause problems. Those problems should be fewer, however, for corporate entities, especially one like CNN that should have top of the line equipment and internet service. The problems, if any, should be from the other side for the most part.
