I didn't care for either candidate (at all) but I know of multiple people in the same boat who were infuriated with what they perceived as overly biased coverage leading up to the election. A couple let what they saw influence their voting decision and voted for Trump. What I saw flipping around on election night was shameful.
NBC helped further his brand and create a perceived monster with his reality show for however long it ran. I honestly do not believe he would've won without that assistance. Fast forward to the lead-up to the election and the coverage offered by NBC & particularly MSNBC. Savana Guthrie & Chuck Todd (who couldn't carry Tim Russert's suit coat) have been downright livid on air. MSNBC takes the bias on NBC and multiplies it by about 100 times. Maddow...wow--seriously? She's impossible. What an angry crazy B. I've never seen any anchor or analyst go off and lose their mind like Lawrence O'Donnell did (and has in the past). If you don't agree with him, he wants you dead and in hell. There's no doubt in my mind, much of that bias is responsible for contributing to undecideds voting for Trump.
