the last 4 years. Yeah, I'm bitter, because the country just elected a clueless, philandering, cheating, lying, POS to sit in the Oval Office.

I never ever thought that McCain or Romney would have destroyed the country had they won the election. Made it worse off, yes, but not destroy it. I didn't think that about Bush 43, either, although he tried really hard to prove me wrong.

I feel like Trump is an extremely dangerous individual to have the nuclear codes. I hope beyond all hope that he hires good advisors and actually listens to them, because that is the only way the country survives the next 4 years. I don't wish him ill will, I genuinely hope he succeeds. My expectations are EXTREMELY low in that respect, however.

He inherits a divided populace that he himself had a big part in creating. He is going to have to do a lot to try to mend fences, and I hope that he has that in him. Last night was a good start, but he's got a lot to prove.
