It seemed to me that after the video of his "grabbing" comments, he was down. Emotionally.
He looked like he was THIS CLOSE to saying "screw it." The die was cast, game over, drive home safe.
The wikileakes stuff resuscitated him. Gave him, as rod stewart would say, "A reason to believe."
