grid, but looking at the box scores is interesting.
Hughes' stat line is excellent. We'll take that every game. We'd like to see a couple more assists, but 3 is ok for an off guard.
Phillips' stat line is very good. Need a few more assists but some of that probably has to do with other guy's inability to make shots. Again, take it every game.
CVL's stat line is unacceptable. He MUST shoot better, as shooting is his only reason for being on the team. And 36 minutes is completely unacceptable. If you're going to play 36 minutes, you better be leading the team in something.
Woods? sonofa*****. 1/4 from the paint and 4 fouls in 14 minutes. He doesn't need to be a scoring machine, but he needs to be efficient.
Puryear? WTF? 8 boards at least shows he was trying, but holy shlt. Make a freaking basket. In fact make 7 of them.
Geist looks like he was pretty efficient scoring for only 16 minutes, but your backup PG can't go 0/4 on assist/TO. And 4 boards is good for his position.
It looks like Nikko was able to put the ball in the hole against weaker competition but he's gotta get some boards and a block or two.
Looks like Jackson did about as expected. 8 boards will be a good line. 8 dirty work points is good. But he needs to be more efficient. 36% is ok, it's not terrible, but when your shots are on the blocks, you need to be closer to 50%.
I'm not convinced Smith actually played. Did 4 boards land in his lap on the bench?
I guess some are saying that Walton is still sick. He should play more. He should have played more last year. But looking at his stat line, I wouldn't have played him either.
