It is no coincidence that they work together and exert a lot of control on those who are not (yet?) in the upper echelons of power.
There's a reason they do things that don't make sense otherwise... such as ramming massive immigration on nations when their citizens are overwhelmingly against it. Politicians wouldn't rationally go against the strong will of the people. Another example was the bailout of the banksters... who then paid themselves multimillion dollar bonuses out of the proceeds. The people were something like 98% opposed to the bailouts.
The taxpayers are left holding the bag... with a trillion $ worth of I.O.U.s in it that we, our children and grandchildren are responsible for.
Look at how many Democratic presidents go in promising peace and then become warmongers as soon as they gain control of the reins of power.
