on the tax payers' dime to fly to FL and pose as "angry Floridians, posing outside primary centers chanting "Stop the counting" and such. Pretty outrageous that year. It was after that the Supremes got involved. Gore's camp was hellbent on following the Constitution and the rules and the Jim Baker-led GOP effort was just focused on winning. I guess you can blame Gore for that.
