The lawsuit, filed by the Michigan Democratic Party, names the Michigan Republican Party, Donald J. Trump for President, Trump adviser Roger Stone and Stop the Steal, Inc. as defendants.
It asks for a declaration that any harassment or intimidation of voters based on unsubstantiated beliefs in voter fraud is contrary to law, and also for a declaration that "exit polling" or "citizen journalist" initiatives are contrary to the law. It also asks the court to enjoin defendants from organizing efforts to engage in voter intimidation.
