Here is a fairly mainstream guy, former deputy director of the FBI, wondering what the hell is going on, thinking it is something big.

Here is another well-credentialed guy, former deputy assistant Secretary of State, but also controversial trouble-maker that many would say is a lunatic, describing exactly what it is – an FBI counter-coup in which they have employed the tactic of feeding information to Assange. The way I see it: the story that the FBI is feeding information to Asanage is at least as credible as the counter-explanation that it is the Russkies trying to help Trump.

I sincerely hope this stuff isn't true, but is strikes me as being within the realm of a reasonable probability. I am betting this will get absolutely no coverage in the mainstream press, but I think that is of absolutely no value in assessing whether or not it might be true.
