Great retirement (at 55) , great medical, massive vacation time, no firing (more likely to die at work than fired), and no one demands results.

Yet you think we need to give out hefty bonuses too?

Quality folks will nearly always go private sector for the chance for greater rewards, better people to work with.

exec govt bonuses merely reward the slugs that weren't going anywhere.
