only 3 non-mid major programs. That would the lowest total in a decade. Add that to what many consider a very weak SEC and this could wind up being one of our easiest schedules in years.
In 2005-2006 Quin was trying to save his job and we played a very similarly watered down non-con with only 2 non-mid major games. I believe we also were in the preseason NIT that year but got knocked out by Sam Houston State so we weren't allowed to go to New York and play another one or two non-mid majors.
