it sets a precedent that socialists will exploit when expedient.
First, this is an investigation of potentially the next president of the united states, not the mayor of some podunk town in arkansas. The american people have the right to know.
I said this in july when he dropped the first bomb. The american people have a right to know if a presidential candidate is going to be indicted.
It matters, even if it violates protocol of the FIB. Notwithstanding the tortured reasoning and the twisted logic used to refuse indictment, it was worth knowing.
Comey did the right thing. Very poorly.
Similarly here. The america people have a right to know if the potential next president of the united states is under investigation. Yes it can color the election outcome and that is not good. Actually it may be very good if it prevents a corrupt socialist pig who is going to be facing years of legal troubles and innuendo and blackmail while she should be busy revealing and selling state secrets in exchange for cash.
If donald trump were winning according to the polls by 15 points, and eleven days prior to the election there were a serious investigation into him selling drugs and bilking (Enron-like) thousands of people out of billions of dollars....you wanna know, or wait until after the election?
Is there or should there be a statute of limitations, or statute of initiation or statute of liberty or something, defining when a candidate is "safe until after the election" from the truth about corruption and crimes?
Here is the problem, i posted earlier today that fat hillary supported an 11th hour indictment of GHWB when he was running against wild bill clinton. No problem with the timing at all. The charges were dropped (if that's the right term) about two minutes after the election.
The point is that the socialists will now feel free(er) to concoct false charges (Harry reid heard from a friend that mitt romney hadn't paid taxes for ten years) against political opponents. And they have more soldiers and corrupt judges and assorted vermin to bring such allegations.
Then, per the hokie doctrine, the socialists will say...all together now:
Your side does it too
Your side does it more
Your side did it first.
The difference of course is that there was nothing there re GHWB or mitt romney. There is plenty of smoke here.
And the perfect example is algore contesting the 2000 election. A fact forgotten when cows were had about trump saying he would wait to see what happens before conceding if he were to lose.
Facts don't matter. Accusations matter.
