functions of the federal government. Health care is NOT a federal function. The constitution enumerates federal responsibilities, health care is never mentioned. That means it is a local issue.

What you described as easy was just another money grab and an attempt at wealth redistribution.

For my first twenty years on the job I had employer assisted health insurance and never once used it. So I generated tens of thousands of dollars to the system but now that I am of an age where I need to actually use it the rules have been changed so I can no longer do so.
