commented when it is policy not to comment on open investigations (especially Weiner's in this case), is beyond comprehension.

If these details are pertinent, he should then say what the details are, or he should explain why he concerned the public for no reason. Otherwise, he's just like so-called fiscal conservatives who waste taxpayer money on witch hunts that have no public value but have plenty of political value.

This is just like every other GOP-manufactured "scandal". Long on innuendo and short on substance.
