Check out some of the Youtube clips of Gowdy during cross examinations. He has an excellent grasp of the facts, how they fit together, and what the key points are. He's cool, calm and collected and holds their feet to the fire no matter how much they try to counterattack. He just nails them to the wall in systematic fashion.
