MTSU to Arkansas will define this season for me.

Last weekend led to Odom getting more directly involved in the defense. The result was at least in part influenced by several injuries to our defense early in the game. I'm not going to write off the remaining five games now.

I'm interested in seeing how the players respond to the loss of Scherer and Beckner (and possibly Gibson, whose status I can't recall).

I'm interested in seeing how things change with Odom being more involved with the defense.

I'm interested in seeing a string of games against comparable competition.

That's not denial. That's being a fan.
