being played between Dec 20th and 23rd every year since 1990. The first it was played on Dec 19th, the latter was played on Dec 28th. If you go back to the very early 1980's there are some examples of it being played in early Dec. Previously it was one of the marquee non-con matchups nationally, so I think his point is that to attribute it even partially to the date is simply mis-attributing the true cause.
