with this incessant "fire the coach, hire magic coach" bs. The best thing that will help Mizzou recruiting is if we win games, and KA gets a contract extension. No, its not because KA is the greatest coach or recruiter in the universe. It is for the very point you are making: we can't compete for good recruits if there's a "hotseat" rumor surrounding the coaching staff.

Best case scenario for Mizzou long term would be making 15 or better wins this season, and them making the post-season next year. That would give Sterk the justification for extending Anderson, and THEN we would be able to recruit.
