been remembered had that night not happened. We were coming off a road win in which he stole the ball and made the game winning basket against CU, and had already beaten the eventual Big 12 champs Texas. Beat Maryland and Purdue in the non-con but had suffered one possession losses to Michigan State, Arkansas, and Illini. That team could have really done something without all the suspensions and his injury.

He was avged about 15 ppg and was on pace to have the second best assist per game avg in program history at the time before he got injured.
