your fair share, and yet, it's not enough. That's the dichotomy. The rich pay an enormous amount in taxes and yet, it's not enough. So why?
The why is simple, it's spending, stupids. But beyond the easy diagnosis, it's the treatment protocol that's difficult. Where do you cut and how do you keep those cuts from creating other serious problems.
Like the flat tax - sure, sounds good - until you think about the millions of Americans that would be unemployed because their careers revolve around a complicated code.
Defense? Same issue - it's a jobs program as much as anything else.
Entitlements? Foreign Aid?
All of the above?
