He's putting himself through college, and he doesn't want to take out any debt like he is supposed to. He went to a community college for the first two years, and he works during his free time to pay for his community college bills and to save up money for his transfer to a four year university. He says he wants to major in industrial design, because he likes to "make things".

What an idiot. Doesn't he know he can just take out a bunch of loans and major in something fun, and then "work" for the government and have your loans forgiven? Doesn't he realize that people who "make things" don't get Columbus Day off?

Dumb, dumb kid.
