Missing out of St. Louis studs only matters if you don't have talent from elsewhere. Really the only time periods where it was meaningful that St. Louis never sends players to MU were the late 1990's and Kim's era, because we didn't have adequate talent. As a general statement, during the other era's the talent from St. Louis we didn't land was replaced by landing talent from elsewhere.
