they were last year. I'm assuming we will be playing Davidson and Northern Iowa. Northern Iowa lost 3/4 of their double digit scorers off a team that was #67 in KenPom last year. I think they will drop 30 or 40 spots this year. Davidson returns their top 2 scorers from last year but lost the next 5 best contributors. I think they will probably be right around that #100 range they were in last year. There were 3 SEC teams below 100 in Kenpom last year and we were one of those teams. I think Northern Iowa and Davidson will both be in that 100+ range. I think Northern Iowa and Davidson would both be in the bottom 1/4 of the SEC if they played in our league so like I said, I don't put too much into the prediction of the SEC results from beating a couple teams of that caliber. If we are going to improve this year we will have to be able to beat a team of Illinois' caliber which is a major conference NIT level team.
