stupidity and poor recruiting over the past 2-3 years. Start with a team that's probably still fractured and loaded with malcontents (you know of whom I'm speaking) from last year. Add a rookie head coach, a sophomore QB who didn't receive squat for coaching last season, and an offensive line with only three career starts at the beginning of the season. Throw in some receivers who don't know how or simply refuse to catch the ball with their hands instead of their bodies. Top it off with a new defensive scheme that practically emasculates our defensive line and a linebacking corps that is probably the worst in the SEC, and it's little wonder we can't beat the likes of MTSU.

When you consider that some of our best players are true freshmen and sophomores, it's obvious there's very little senior leadership on this team. Or at least the kind of leadership that backs up their talk with performance on the field.
