Gets. There is no excuse for what is playing out on the field on that side of the ball. The D has quit on the staff and Cross is helpless and hopeless to fix it. It was terrible judgement on Odoms part to bring in a guy that was going to completely revamp the D in season #1 when the D was very good. The O we knew was going to have to be revamped. To scratch both in The same year was asking for the disaster we now have in front of us. A good HC would tell a good DC to work his way into transitioning into the D he wanted by recruiting the players he wanted to his system....not beating a square peg into a round hole. Cross apparently is only able to coach one kind of D......which makes him a 'hack'. And that is a huge strike against Odom as a former DC for not recognizing the possible disaster it was going to create. If this staff can't recruit players....and quickly, they will all be looking for jobs.
