shows imo, far reaching and unintended consequences of having football morons make or influence policy for the university.
Most scholarship football players are too stupid to be in college anyway. To have the administration allow policy decisions to even be influenced by these guys is nuts.
If there were even a hint of testosterone and ethical principles in your administration, they would have told BLM to get off campus, and allowed the football team to walk out and forfeit a game.
Then, all the players who walked would be dismissed from the team. Ahem, it's not like you won the sec last year.
And your program this year is dreadful.
Admissions to the university are down, near as I can tell, athletic recruiting is down.
What did the Spinless Ones gain in capitulation? More importantly, where would you be football wise and otherwise, if the administration had done the right thing?
The university of Missouri hand a chance to stand for something. They opted for the cowardice of political correctness instead.
The expedience of cowardice has only short term benefits. The long term impact is disastrous.
As the whole country is seeing.
Not trying to be confrontational, just offering a perspective from the old dominion.
