They figure they will eventually get rewarded from a position in the clinton whitehouse admin, the clinton foundation, or any number of the liberal think tanks, charities they have ties with.

In regard to the last question, the press is 90% liberal, progressive, supports abortion rights even more than Hillary. Will fight any attempt, at any restriction with everything they can muster. All with support from liberal judges, pols, and of course media pals.
