Those 'stagnant' players were offensive players that had been put in a full court pressure D system. They didn't do well because that wasn't their strength. They were shooters and scorers, but in MA system they used to much energy on other things. Haith just let them play to their strengths.....so for that he gets credit....but he didn't recruit any of them and he didn't much after they left. Good coaches should be able to coach players he recruits too. He hasn't to any great success.
