no danger of a nationwide housing bubble, that the underlying economy fully supported the rapid and very large rise in housing prices... right before it all collapsed.
and Nobel laureate in economics, Paul Krugman wondering aloud how all of the economists were caught with their pants down not seeing the calamity coming.
and Ben Bernanke and others proclaiming that "No one could have seen it coming."
despite the fact that the "kooks" had been warning the nation and the world exactly what was coming and the underlying reasons why... and why it was in fact inevitable in the years leading up to the financial collapse that took the world economy to its knees.
