I am not condoning it, just pointing it out. And that salary of a million bucks is chump change when you can pull that down in a week with four speaking engagements.
They have been outrageously compensated. I remember though Reagan being lauded with admiration when the Japanese gave him a million dollars for a speech while Jim Carter was out building houses for the poor.
