Most lawyers are members of a lawyers association and many are members of several. Most lawyers associations don't take political positions because that's not their purpose.

Your example better illustrates Trump's methodology of connecting dots, regardless of facts, evidence, or logic, to create a sensational and outrageous explanation for why he is losing in any given situation.
